Associate Degree In Business Administration
(2BACC)
Program Leader:
Laurie Breakey
The Penn State Associate Degree
in Business Administration (2BACC) requires
a minimum of sixty (60) credits and its primary
objective is to provide a business oriented
program with sufficient communicative and
mathematical skills, socially relevant course
work, and specified business specialties to
develop a well-rounded knowledgeable graduate.
The 2BACC degree prepares students for a
professional career in today's business
environment. The program is designed to
broaden the student's business and general
education perspectives. Students may choose to
pursue this degree on a full-time or part-time
basis. Courses are offered to allow students
to complete the degree entirely during day or
evening hours.
The General Business
option provides an introductory foundation
to core aspects of the business environment
while preparing students for future transfer
into baccalaureate business programs. Students
who plan to continue into baccalaureate degree
business programs should complete MATH 22 or 110
depending on the specific program of interest.
Upon completion of
the associate degree program, the graduate may
choose either to enter the job market directly or
pursue a baccalaureate degree in a program such as
the four-year Business program offered at Penn
State DuBois.
