Teacher Certification for those who already have a

Required Courses The courses that are required for Entrance
to the Major vary depending on the certification program. Required courses
must be taken either before or during the student’s ETM semester. For certification programs offered through
the College of Education, the list of required courses is neatly summarized
on the second page of each checksheet.
These include Elementary and Kindergarten Education, Secondary Education,
Special Education, Urban Education, and Workforce Education. All Entrance to Major requirements for certification
programs offered by the College of Education, the College of Agriculture, the
College of Arts and Architecture, and the College of Health and Human
Development are summarized on a table.
The table includes listings of the required courses. For certification programs offered through
Penn State Harrisburg, the required courses are summarized at web pages
describing each program. In general, students should plan on completing all
of their General Education coursework before moving to Penn State Harrisburg. |
