Prospective teachers who hold Bachelor’s degrees (or higher) without teacher certification should contact Dan Grow in the College of Education. He can help determine what requirements must be fulfilled to qualify for certification.

Teachers with certification in other states should visit the Pennsylvania Department of Education web page on  certification in Pennsylvania, which includes a section for out-of-state graduates.

Teachers seeking higher level certifications (e.g., Instructional II, Education Specialist, Administrative or Supervisory) can find information on all certification programs offered by Penn State at the College of Education’s Certification page.
