Mechanical
Engineering Technology
Like acronyms? We've
got a bunch!
With a fundamental background
in physics, math & statistics, you can learn about computer numerical
controlled [CNC] machines, non-destructive testing [NDT] of materials, the
analysis of manufacturing processes using the techniques of statistical
process control [SPC] and the design of production tools using the latest
computer aided drafting [CAD] skills acquired through intensive "hands-on"
laboratory experience.
The CAD laboratory at Penn
State DuBois has recently been updated with new computers with 21" monitors and
the latest release of Mechanical Desktop and Autodesk Inventor. Come visit us and
check it out!
