PENN STATE DUBOIS TECH PREP EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR
AWARD Purpose of the Award Beginning in 2000, the Tech Prep office, on behalf of the entire consortium, awarded the first annual Tech Prep Educator Of The Year award. It is our strong belief that we have a wide variety of talented and dedicated educators within our schools who have embraced and are living examples of the definition of Tech Prep. This award was established to acknowledge these educators who are dedicated to the students they teach. By creating an environment where all students can and do learn, and where students see the bridge between what they learn and the world of work, these educators bring the Tech Prep curriculum to life in their classroom. We honor these educators. Nomination Process Nomination information are sent to the principals and superintendents of the high schools with Program Specific Articulation Agreements. As schools become fully articulated they are then eligible to nominate personnel from their school. Current schools that are fully articulated include: Bradford, Clarion Limestone, DuBois, Jeff Tech, North Clarion, Punxsutawney, St. Marys, State College, Smethport, Ridgway, Harmony, and Warren County School District Schools may make copies of the nomination form and nominate as many instructors as they wish.
