Wildlife Technology Faculty Member Profiles

The faculty at Penn State DuBois are dedicated to helping our students succeed.  Both classes and labs are taught by faculty, not teaching assistants, and the small class size ensures that students get a high level of personal attention.  Click on a faculty member's name to learn more about him or her!

Dr. Andrew Bartholomay has been teaching dendrology, silviculture, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) since he joined the DuBois campus in 2002.  His research interests include the silviculture of uneven-aged forest stands, natural regeneration in forest gaps, and dendroecology.

Andrew received his AAS in Forest Technology from Paul Smith's College, his BS in Resources Management from the State University of New York/College of Environmental Science and Forestry, his MS in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire and his Ph.D. in Forest Resources from the Pennsylvania State University.

He lives in State College with his wife and motorcycle (not necessarily in that order).
