While many of our classes are taught in traditional classrooms, the Wildlife Technology Program at Penn State DuBois also includes many outdoor laboratories. Some of the places we visit on a regular basis include:

• Parker Dam, SB Elliot, Clear Creek, and Cook State Parks

• Moshannon State Forest

• Allegheny National Forest

• Nature's Comeback Bison Ranch

• Jennings Environmental Center

• Rathmel Run Hunting Preserve

• Pittsburgh Zoo

In addition, many of our students have the opportunity to take trips during their time at Penn State DuBois either through classes or extracurricular activities.  Some of the places we have visited to date include:

• Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada

• Pine Barrens, New Jersey

• The Everglades, Florida

• Lake Superior

• Smoky Mountain National Park
